Newport Center Surgical is proud to be the first outpatient surgery center in Orange County with a Mako SmartRobotics system on-site. This state-of-the-art technology is available for our patients upcoming partial knee, total knee and total hip replacement. The Mako SmartRobotics system provides our surgeons with greater control while performing partial and total knee replacement and total hip replacement surgery. Our system allows our surgeons to create an individual patient-specific surgical plan.

One of the primary benefits of robotic arm-assisted surgery is reduced pain immediately following the procedure and during recovery. Studies have shown better and earlier range of motion as patients return to normal daily activity. Robotic arm-assisted surgery provides excellent alignment that mimics the body’s natural anatomy and allows for phenomenal accuracy with implant placement resulting in the best outcome possible.
